CLARITY BUILDS BETTER WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

A thoughtful start. A clearer agreement.

Software can be valuable before it is suitable for your business. Ask questions, inspect the current product and understand the responsibilities on both sides.

A listing is not a certification. SaaSHere does not imply that a listed app has passed a security audit, that a seller’s identity has been verified or that a transaction is protected by escrow.

Before you commit.

  • Ask for a demonstration of the current application.
  • Confirm what is already built and what requires development.
  • Agree deliverables and acceptance criteria in writing.
  • Confirm source code, licence rights and third-party dependencies.
  • Ask who owns hosting, API and domain accounts.
  • Set out recurring charges and ongoing support.

Keep demonstrations separate from production.

Use fictional records and a dedicated test account. Do not share a production database, banking login, customer records or unrestricted cloud credentials to view a demo. A hosted session does not by itself establish that the uploaded software is safe.

Keep a clear record.

Use the platform conversation to document scope and changes. If you choose to communicate or pay outside SaaSHere, those actions are outside the platform’s payment workflow and may limit what information is available when you ask for help. Do not interpret this as a promise of protection for an on-platform transaction: live payment services and their terms must first be activated.

Respect other people’s work.

List only software and media you have the right to share. Do not use misleading testimonials, copied portfolios, fabricated credentials or unsupported earnings claims. Buyers should not upload references they are not entitled to disclose.

AI needs a review step.

AI-assisted briefs and drafts can omit context or make mistakes. Review them before sharing, quoting or relying on them. Keep humans responsible for financial commitments, security decisions and any sensitive or regulated use.

Report a concern.

Use the support centre and select Safety. Include the relevant reference and what you observed. Support requests are recorded in your account; there is no guaranteed response time during early access.
